The charming town of Boylston is located about 44 miles west of Boston, and 13 miles north of Worcester. Boylston is home to approximately 4,355 residents. The northwest area of Boylston is adjacent to the 4,135-acre Wachusett Reservoir.
The Wachusett Reservoir supplies fresh water to over 2 million people in the Boston area. Public access is allowed for the purpose of shoreline fishing, and for recreation around the reservoir area, including hiking trails, picnicking, bicycling and hunting.
Boylston is a residential, rural community surrounded by abundant natural scenery. Municipal services include a police and fire department, public library and park district. Boylston schools are operated by the Berlin-Boylston School District.
